Easy instructions are included, along with rivets and drill bits. They are available in powder-coated high-gloss white or powder-coated semi-gloss black. Use semi-gloss black for the "tactical" look. Here is a U.S. Border Patrol pick-up truck. The Hood Louvers blend in because they are powder-coated gloss white and the rivets are white. The USBP wanted this low-key look.

In the heat and high humidity of Pelion, S.C., the Police Department tested RunCool Hood Louvers. They found they lowered underhood temperatures by 31°!
